We've arrived!

We arrived in Frankfurt right on time at 1725 local time. By the time we went through customs (by the way, the Oldies did redeem themselves a little by winning a race, by far, to the customs agent), picked up our luggage, took a shuttle to the hotel where the leasing office was for the car we got, it was almost 2000. We were finally en route to Rothenburg, approximately 2 hrs away. Yes, I was the first to drive the car!!! It's very cute, but more importantly, it fit all our luggage. Whew! About an hour into our drive, we were all getting quite hungry. We pulled into a little rest area to have our dinner and had to pay to use the WC. I think Anne might have had to pay twice. :(  Anyway, we pulled into Rothenburg around 2300 after the terrible downpour from our dinner stop all the way here. Our rooms are so cute! Love this place. I'll post some pics tomorrow. Anne's out cold and I'm ready to join her. Awww, I'm listening to the bells chime. It's midnight! Good night my friends. Gute Nacht!
